For this project, we were tasked with merging two existing companies to create a new product or campaign. As someone deeply passionate about sustainability and environmental protection, I focused on brands that had yet to take meaningful steps toward using sustainable materials. After extensive research, I identified Henry Hoover and Lost Mary—two companies that rely heavily on single-use plastics.
This concept led to the creation of Vape Vacuum bins, designed to collect and recycle disposable vapes. The plastic casings from the vapes would be melted down and repurposed to produce the casing for a new, eco-friendly line of Henry Hoovers.
To make this sustainable collaboration more engaging, I envisioned a transparent journey where the public could follow the process from the moment they dispose of their vapes, to witnessing their transformation into a useful, environmentally friendly product.

When developing the brand identity, I needed to appeal to two key demographics: a younger audience to encourage teens and young adults to recycle their vapes, and an older audience likely to purchase our new fully sustainable product. To engage both groups, I focused on using vibrant colors to draw interest to the collaboration, creating an intuitive and accessible website with detailed product information, and emphasising how effortless the recycling process can be.
I felt it was essential to create fun and engaging posters that not only captured attention but also conveyed the importance of recycling in protecting our planet. I was intentional about including a concise, impactful sentence on each advertisement to emphasize how vital this effort is in driving positive environmental change.
